Free English Conversation Classes (Suspended until Further Notice)
Classes are suspended due to COVID-19 from March 16 2020 until further notice.
Each Wednesday there is a free English conversation class that is open to any adult who wants to improve their English speaking skills. Students engage in a variety of speaking and listening activities based on a theme relevant to newcomers in Melbourne. Following a conversation lesson, a simple Bible story is told and discussed within smaller groups.
Each week around 50 students come for classes. The classes are run by volunteers from various Melbourne churches.
These classes are a great way to grow in confidence in your language skills and to make lasting friendships in Melbourne.
